Bulldog Booster Update!

Board of Regents member, top Georgia Athletics booster and Suzanne Yoculan par amour Don Leebern has found himself docked what probably amounts to a day’s pay for failing to file financial disclosures by the Georgia Ethics Commission:

The Georgia Ethics Commission handed out the largest fines in its history Thursday to two current and former university system regents and the political arm of the Georgia Association of Realtors.

Regent Donald Leebern of Columbus, a member of the university system board since 1991, was fined $37,750, also in a consent order.

Leebern admitted to failing to file personal financial disclosure statements for 2005 and 2006 by the required deadlines….

That does seem like a fairly hefty fine for missing a reporting deadline, especially considering that it doesn’t appear Leebern contested the allegations.  But we don’t have the details.

I wonder if this will be picked up by the Dawgosphere.
